Our vacuum, bamboo and stainless steel shaker pairs wonderfully with your Ceremonial Matcha. It holds 12oz for the perfect serving of Genki Matcha hot or cold tea. It is also great for a hot or cold Genki Matcha latte, matcha lemonade of whatever your heart desires!

The Genki Matcha Shaker Specs

  • 100% bamboo exterior (Note that the color of the shaker may very due to each shaker not being carved from the same piece of bamboo.)

How to use

Hot Matcha

  1. Upon opening the shaker, remove the infuser by lifting the stainless steel handle, twist it firmly to the left or right, lift and remove it from the shaker (If you'd like to use the infuser to sift your matcha, leave the infuser in place).
  2. Add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of matcha to the shaker, next add 4oz - 5oz of hot water.
  3. Place the lid back on the shaker and twist tightly to close the shaker (it is vacuum sealed).
  4. Shake the contents of the bottle up and down quickly 10-15 times (similar to a martini shake). Wait five seconds before re-opening the bottle.
  5. Upon opening the bottle, remove the stainless steel infuser.
  6. Your matcha should be nice and frothy once properly shaken.
  7. Enjoy!

Cold Matcha

  1. Upon opening the shaker, remove the infuser by lifting the stainless steel handle, twist it firmly to the left or right, lift and remove it from the shaker (If you'd like to use the infuser to sift your matcha, leave the infuser in place).
  2. Add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of matcha to the shaker, next add 4oz - 5oz of cold water.
  3. If you have removed the infuser, place the it back inside of the shaker. You'll know it's secure once it locks back into place.
  4. Place the lid back on the shaker and twist tightly to close the shaker (it is vacuum sealed).
  5. Shake the contents of the bottle up and down quickly 10-15 times (similar to a martini shake). Wait five seconds prior to re-opening the bottle.
  6. Upon opening the bottle, remove the stainless steel infuser. 
  7. Your matcha should be nice and frothy once properly shaken.
  8. Enjoy!
